The Budget Planner

The budget planner puts your week on paper before you live it: planned income vs planned spending, with a projected surplus or shortfall.

What it is

A weekly planning tool on the Money screen covering built-in living costs, custom bills, and auto-save.

What it does

  • Projects your weekly surplus or shortfall from real numbers.
  • Adds custom recurring expenses that post weekly as real ledger transactions.
  • Sweeps a set amount from everyday into savings automatically after bills.
  • Shows a red alert when the week is projected over budget, plus the ‘last week you spent $X over’ line.

How to use it

  1. Open the Money screen and go to the Budget section.
  2. Add any custom bills that repeat weekly.
  3. Set your auto-save amount — the sweep runs after bills.
  4. Read the alerts and adjust before the week starts.

Good to know

Planned-vs-actual is tracked by the engine, so the weekly summary can tell you exactly where you went over.
